Rachelle
Rachelle

Optometry Technician

With 14 years of experience as an Optometry Technician, I have built a career centered on clinical precision and a genuine passion for patient care. I thrive on the daily interactions that allow me to help others see the world more clearly.

Outside of the clinic, I am a proud parent of two and an avid enthusiast of an active lifestyle—whether I’m competing on the pickleball court or exploring trails on my bike. At home, I find my joy in the kitchen, cooking up meals to share with the friends and family who mean the most to me.

With 14 years of dedicated service at Leawood Family Eyecare, I am the welcoming face and receptionist who takes true pride in greeting every patient who walks through our doors.

Away from the front desk, my life is centered around my family, including my three children and six wonderful grandchildren. I am an avid gardener who thrives in the sunshine and finds joy in the beauty of being outdoors.

Haley
Haley

With 14+ years in the optical industry, I’ve learned that the right pair of glasses does more than just correct vision—it transforms how you see yourself. I love the art of “frame-matching” and helping people find that one-in-a-million pair that fits their face perfectly.

Outside of the clinic, I’m a mother of two boys one who is already out of the house and one in high-school. When I’m not spending time with my family, you can usually find me sharpening my focus at the billiards table or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

Rhonda
Rhonda

Born and raised in Kansas City, I’ve spent the last 17 years building a career in eyecare — starting at the front desk, moving into clinical tech work, and now thriving as an optician. My professional journey began working for two wonderful doctors in Iowa, where I gained invaluable hands-on training and a deep understanding of patient care and eyewear selection.

Starla
Starla

For the past six years, Star has been a welcoming face at the front desk of Leawood Family Eye Care and Optical Boutique, specializing in patient coordination and insurance. She is dedicated to helping patients understand their benefits and ensuring every visit is as seamless as possible. Outside the office, Star’s world revolves around her close-knit family. Whether she’s spending quality time with her twin sister, her fiancé, or her adult son, she thrives on the connection of those closest to her. When it’s time to unwind, you’ll likely find her diving into the latest true crime mystery or experimenting with a new recipe.

Lauren
Lauren

Lauren is originally from Tallahassee, FL, and a proud graduate of Florida State (Go Noles!). I recently started a new chapter here at Leawood Family Eye Care, and I’m loving the community so far. Life stays busy with my two kids, who are both heavily involved in youth sports, so I spend a lot of my weekends at the fields. To unwind, I love tending to my plants and catching a good football game.
