
Optometrist
Dr. Alan Phillips grew up in Marshall, Missouri, earning his BA in Geography and Biology from the University of Missouri-Columbia in nineteen ninety-two. He graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis School of Optometry, then served four years as a captain in the US Army—active duty at Ft. Jackson and Ft. Bragg—before returning to the Midwest in two thousand three.

Optometrist
Dr. Stacy Phillips grew up in Pittsburg, Kansas, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Pittsburg State University before graduating from the University of Missouri–St. Louis College of Optometry in 1997.
During optometry school, she completed externships at the Kansas City VA Medical Center, where she gained extensive experience caring for patients with glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and other complex eye conditions. She also completed a pediatric rotation in Denver and additional specialty training in advanced contact lens fitting.

Optometrist
Dr. Debra Kirk is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. She attended the University of Missouri-Columbia, earning a BA in Biology in 1992. She completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Southern California College of Optometry in 1996, followed by a residency in Pediatric Optometry and Vision Therapy. While at SCCO, she was selected as a teaching assistant in both the Contact Lens and Pediatric Departments and received several awards recognizing her excellence in clinical care and patient management. She has practiced optometry in the Kansas City area since 1997. She joined LFEC in 2012 after being a part of an Ophthalmology group practice.

Sharon is the first person who will greet you when you walk into the office. She has been with the office for 20 years! From the moment that you come in until it is time to leave, she will always go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied with your visit! Her many responsibilities include making sure you receive the contact lenses that are prescribed. In her spare time, she enjoys her wonderful husband, two grown children, and five grandchildren.
